Sita’s Ramayana:

Genre: Mythology

Books take you places, but this one's gonna bring you home. As Indians, Ramayana has been drilled into our brains and souls. These mythological events have always been used as examples to teach us life lessons. They are an integral part of us just like our mother tongue. All our life we have been taught to sympathize with Sita and idealize ram. This book gives an understanding of the other side of the story. Ram's activities have been justified innumerable times but no one has ever talked about how Sita coped up with everything. One may feel that this book is a work of fiction. But, no! Each detail has been disclosed with references to the distinctive adaptations of Ramayana that have gone through the ages

Quick tip- Pick this book up when you wanna unwind and backpedal into wistfulness since this is going to bring back recollections like no other!

Rating- 4.5/5

Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda:

Genre: Fiction

"It's a holy freaking huge awesome deal"

Oh! yes. This is one of the most comforting books I have ever read. It is simply so cute. Simon falls for Blue over the Internet and it's that cute, innocent love story we all go awwwwww about. Of course, there are problems (which romantic tale doesn't haveπŸ’–) but Simon conquers all, finally finding his happily ever after :). I also fell in love with the cover of the book. It's so classy and exquisite.

Quick tip: Don't you EVER miss out on a book like this.

Angela’s Ashes:

Genre: Memoir

Finally, I could get some time to leaf through the pages from Angela’s ashes; a memoir of a young boy who dealt with his poor life and a series of death in his family. It was truly a lachrymose read I’ve ever had. While reading the book a lot of thoughts crossed my mind. I thought of how life shows you something you never expected to see and how destiny holds your hands when the right time comes. Importantly, despite having vicissitudes in life, the urge of a person to survive helps him to burgeon in life. I would surely recommend this book to everyone as it teaches you that life never ends, it keeps on going while making you enjoy the journey and make your destiny beautiful.
